SUMMARY

If you quit Word versions 3.x, 4.00, 5.00, or 5.50 with a file loaded and then restart Word using the /l switch, the cursor will return to its former position in the file when Word was exited. Word saves the current cursor position in the MW.INI file when you exit Word 3.x, 4.00, or 5.00 using the Quit command or exit Word 5.50 using the File Exit Word command with a file loaded.
