Summary:

To create a PICT graphic in Word from text, do the following:

  1. Select the text to be converted.
  2. Copy it to the clipboard by pressing COMMAND+OPTION+D.
  3. Paste the graphic back into any Word document and outline, shadow, or resize it as you would any other graphic.

The text chosen for the graphic must be from a line or lines that have a left indent of 0. If the graphic is chosen from a line that has a left indent greater than 0, the text will be indented within the graphic by an equal amount.
