SUMMARY

You can sometimes chart negative values in Works, depending on the type of chart you are creating. The rules for charting negative values in Works charts are as follows:

  1. You can always plot negative values in simple-bar, multiple-bar, simple-line, multiple-line, mixed-bar-and-line, XY, and hi-lo-close charts. In these charts, negative values are plotted below the X-axis. Positive values are plotted above the X-axis.
  2. Negative values will not be plotted as negative values in pie charts, stacked-bar charts, 100-percent bar charts, or area line charts. Negative values will be converted to and plotted as positive values.
