Chart with 24-Hour Time Labeling Incorrectly

PSS ID Number: Q39837 Article last modified on 06-12-1996

1.05 2.00

MS-DOS

SUMMARY

If a series of times is charted and one of the times is large enough to cause the labels (in this case, along the Y-axis) to reach the value 24:00, 24:00 will be listed as 0:00, and all numbers above 12:00 will be listed as #####.

A workaround to this problem is to change the range on the labels to “0 to .9999” (ranging from 0 hours to about 23:59 hours), which will cause the 0:00 representing 24:00 to change to 23:59 and the other numbers to fill in properly.

Microsoft is aware of this problem and will post more information as it becomes available.
