SUMMARY

When you copy an entire spreadsheet or database to the Microsoft Works for MS-DOS Word Processor using Select All and then the Edit Copy command, the percent-copied indicator increases very slowly. This behavior can occur when the entire spreadsheet or database area has been selected for the copy. As a result, 4095 lines of information are copied.

To properly copy a spreadsheet or database:

  1. Select (highlight) only those cells that actually contain data.
  2. Choose the Edit Copy command. The copy process will proceed much faster.
