Summary:
The Multiplan Version 4.00 program file is an .EXE file, whereas the program file in versions earlier than Version 4.00 is a .COM file. Therefore, if the DOS Copy command is used to copy Multiplan Version 4.00 to your Multiplan directory, the old program file will not be overwritten. Consequently, when the program is loaded, the older version will come up.
There are four files in an older version of Multiplan that can be deleted from your Multiplan directory to eliminate this problem. The files are as follows:
MP.COD MP.COM MP.DAT MP.SYS.
