SUMMARY

The Library Run command can be used to load a new command processor and then run a series of DOS commands. Type COMMAND under the Library Run command. This will load a DOS shell. To get back into Word after running DOS commands, type EXIT at the DOS prompt.

To avoid problems, don’t delete any files that have been accessed by Word during the present session when using the Library Run command.

With Word version 5.00, Word proposes COMMAND as the response for Library Run when running DOS, and proposes CMD as the response for Library Run when running OS/2. More information on the Library Run command can be found in the “Reference to Microsoft Word” manual on Pages 53-54.
