SUMMARY
The QuickBASIC Settings file stored in the System Folder will not allow QuickBASIC to load if there has been a system modification or change since the last time it was open.
If you have used QuickBASIC Version 1.00 for the Apple Macintosh on any given version of the system, then you have installed a new version of the system (such as System Version 6.0.2). QuickBASIC will begin loading, but it only will momentarily run before returning to the desktop.
To correct the problem, delete the QuickBASIC Settings file from the system folder; this forces QuickBASIC to build a new one.
