SUMMARY
The new features in the Microsoft Works version 2.0 Database module are as follows:
The Database Functions
Many of the built-in calculations (functions) that are used in the Spreadsheet can be pasted directly into computed fields in a database document. Functions can be used only in computed fields. Any function that takes a range as an argument cannot be used.
Changing the Report Window
The report window now has scroll bars, a zoom box, and a size box for scrolling and changing the report window’s size. The right margin in reports can be changed by dragging the right-margin marker.
New Command Names
To make the Database easier to use, the command names in the TotalsPage menu have changed. The changes are as follows:
From To —- –
Total-1st Char Field Take a Sub-Total on 1st Char
Total of Field Change Take a Sub-Total on Field Change
The order of commands in the TotalsPage menu also has changed.
