MACINTOSH

Summary:

When a file is saved in MacWrite file format and read into MacWrite, the date, time, and page number stamps from the header or footer window are converted to “#d”, “#t”, and “#p”, respectively (without the quotation marks).

These characters, which are not the same as the actual corresponding entries in MacWrite, are inserted to provide a reference so that they can be manually updated with the actual MacWrite stamps.
