SUMMARY

If the computer beeps when the LEFT or RIGHT ARROW key is pressed, it is because the scroll lock feature is on. The UP and DOWN ARROW keys will work correctly. Pressing the SCROLL LOCK key once will turn the scroll lock feature off.

The two-letter code SL should be visible in the status line, indicating that the SCROLL LOCK key has been pressed, turning on the scroll lock feature.

In Word version 5.00 and 5.50 , you can use all the directional keys with scroll lock on.
