Summary:

“Menu”, a TSR (terminate-and-stay-resident program ) supplied with Microsoft Mouse, used for executing a programs at the DOS level. It should work properly in most cases, but various problems may occur, including hanging at the Windows logo screen.

If such problems occur, “menu” should be removed from the AUTOEXEC.BAT for testing purposes. If the problem goes away after the line has been removed from the AUTOEXEC.BAT, the mouse menu program should not be used with Windows.
