Summary:
To change all of the text formatted in a particular style to another style, us the following steps:
Word for Windows Version 2.0
- From the Edit menu, choose Replace.
- Select the styles button and choose the style to find.
- Select the styles button and choose the style to replace with.
- Select Match Case.
- Choose Replace All.
Word for Windows Version 1.0 and 1.1
From the Edit menu, choose Replace.
In the Search For box, type
^yoldstyle
where oldstyle is the name of the style you want to replace. Do not type a space between the ^y and the name of the style that you want to replace. Match the case of the style name.
In the Replace With box, type
^ynewstyle
where “newstyle” is the name of an existing style that you would like to change all occurrences of “oldstyle” with.
Select Match Upper/Lower Case.
Cancel the selection of Confirm Changes.
Choose the OK button.
