Summary:
The INDEX and LOOKUP functions contained in a Microsoft Multiplan version 4.00 worksheet may become corrupt after the worksheet is saved and reloaded. Spaces, graphic characters, or ASCII characters may replace the commas in the formula when the file is reloaded. The formula will then no longer function correctly.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Multiplan version 4.00. This problem was corrected in Multiplan version 4.20. Updated or new Microsoft software can be ordered in the US by contacting Microsoft End User Sales and Service at (800) 426-9400.
