SUMMARY

With table gridlines showing (or in Show Paragraph mode), paragraph borders within table cells may not appear to be applied. The table gridline is drawn over the same area where the paragraph border would be displayed.

To see the paragraph border on the screen, turn off the Show Table Gridlines option in Preferences (under the Edit menu), and choose Hide Paragraph from the Edit menu. You may also want to consider using a cell border instead of a paragraph border.
