SUMMARY
To customize your project-data presentation, the Views command allows you to create customized views from Project for Windows’ nine basic screens using tables, filters, and display preferences.
Project for Windows’ nine basic screens are:

Microsoft Project version 3.0 has eleven basic screens. These are:

You can create either single- or double-pane views. A single-pane view consists of a screen with view options, such as a filter and a table. A double-pane view consists of two single-pane views. For example, the top view may have a table with a filter applied to it, and the bottom view may have a table with a custom table applied to it.
The bottom view because is automatically filtered according to the selection in the top view. For example, if a Task Sheet is in the top pane and a Resource Sheet is in the bottom pane, the resources shown in the bottom pane will be the ones used in the tasks selected in the top pane.
