Bitmap Clipboard Format:

Stores a graphic image copied from a bitmapped graphics program such as Microsoft Windows Paint. Bitmapped graphics are composed of a series of dots, representing the pixels of the display. Each dot corresponds to a bit in memory. If a particular dot appears black, its bit usually corresponds to a value of one on a bitmap, or table of values, in memory. If a dot appears white, its bit usually corresponds to a value of zero. Bitmapped graphics are restricted to a specific number of dots per inch because each dot is represented by a bit in memory.
