- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SUMMARY

On pages 69 and 293 of the “Reference to Microsoft Word” manual for Word version 4.00, the selection should have advised avoiding using commas when naming data documents, especially when using the DATA instruction to specify the data document. Word uses commas to separate the name of the header document from the name of the data document in the DATA instruction.

This information appears in the ReadMe document that came on your Word Program disk (the file is named “Word 4 ReadMe”).
