Summary:
When a linked list directory box is created with tracking text to display the current drive and directory, the text originally displayed will not change. For example, if the tracking text displays C: when the dialog box is first opened, it will continue to display C:, regardless of what drive or directory you enter.
To dynamically update the drive and directory, edit the dialog information contained on the macro sheet. Edit the tracking text line (the line immediately following the type 19 line that created the directory list box) from a type 20 directory text line to a type 5 text line. When this change is made, the text displayed for the linked list directory box will update when the drive or directory is changed.
When using the dialog editor to create directory boxes, it will define tracking text to be of type 20. When the dialog box is pasted to the macro sheet, the above change may be made to update the displayed text.
