Summary:
Microsoft has received many reports that Multiplan version 4.00 hangs randomly on an AT&T 6300 computer. It appears that the solution for getting the program to work properly is to install for a CGA compatible video card, to have a ROM BIOS of version 1.43 or later, and to use AT&T DOS version 3.2 or later. Installing for an IBM CGA video card does not allow the program to load.
If you reinstall Multiplan, first delete the SCREEN.VID file.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Multiplan version 4.00.
