Multiplan: No Cursor with Hercules Board PSS ID Number: Q35620 Article last modified on 05-15-1989 PSS database name: D_MPlan

4.00 4.01

MS-DOS

Summary:

When using Multiplan Versions 4.00 or 4.01 with a Hercules graphics board, no cursor appears when you start the program if you do not have the correct screen driver and color options set. To work properly, the HERC102.VID or HERC112.VID video driver (depending upon which Hercules card you have) should be copied into the disk or directory in which the Multiplan program files are located. After confirming that this has been done, start the Multiplan program and select the Windows Paint command.

Set the four fields as follows:

foreground: 7 background: 0 border: 7 menus: 7

These settings will cause the cell cursor to display correctly.
