Support for the NEC P5200 and P5300

SUMMARY
The NEC P5200 printer replaces the NEC P5 printer. Word versions 3.x and 4.00 do not provide support for this printer. However, you should be able to use the printer driver for the NEC P5 (NECP5.PRD) or the NEC P5XL (NECP5XL.PRD) with both the NEC P5200 and the wide-carriage NEC P5300.
Word 5.00 supports the NEC P5200 and P5300 with NECP5200.PRD. The printer driver is not described in the “Printer Information for Microsoft Word” version 5.00 manual, but is referred to in PRINTERS.DOC on the Printers 1 disk.
Word 5.50 also supports the NEC P5200 and P5300 with NECP5200.PRD. The driver is described on page 179 of the “Printer Information for Microsoft Word” version 5.50 manual.
