SUMMARY
Microsoft Works looks for Font ID 129 installed in the System as the default font for Word Processor documents. The Boston font generally has Font ID 129. If Font ID 129 is absent from the System, Works will use Geneva as the default font. If a font other than Boston is installed with Font ID 129, that font will become the default font.
To change the default font to Boston, use the Font/DA Mover program to remove the font that appears as the default, install Boston into the System, then reinstall the other font. This procedure will install Boston with Font ID 129 and reassign the Font ID of the other font.
