SYMPTOMS

Selected text (which is highlighted in inverse video) in an active List window disappears when you press COMMAND+L or choose the List option from the Windows menu. The text can be easily redisplayed by single clicking anywhere on the List window and then pressing COMMAND+L or by choosing the List option from the Windows menu.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in Microsoft QuickBasic Version 1.00 for the Macintosh and in the Microsoft Basic Interpreter Version 3.00 for the Macintosh (buglist3.00). We are researching this problem and will post new information as it becomes available.

Text can be highlighted (selected) by clicking the mouse at a desired starting point and holding down the button while dragging over the desired text. The mouse button is released when the desired text is highlighted.
