SYMPTOMS

When you use the "input type=submit" value in a Web page, Internet Explorer may fault if the submit value is refreshed repeatedly in a short time. For example, if you click a Web page button that is associated with the "input type=submit" value several times, an access violation may occur.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that this article describes. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
