SYMPTOMS

An access violation in Lsasrv.dll may cause a Windows 2000-based server to become unresponsive. When this problem occurs, the server does not accept connections, and the server becomes unstable. The following event is recorded in the event log:

The security package Negotiate generated an exception. The package is now disabled.
