Session Summary



During this presentation, we will talk about Microsoft Visual J# .NET, which is a tool for developers who like the Java language to build XML Web services and applications for the Microsoft .NET Framework. You will get an outline of the tool, its language features, and see its integration with the .NET Framework demonstrated.

This is a Level 300 session that was recorded May 21, 2002 and presented by Tony Goodhew. Tony Goodhew is a Product Manager in the .NET Developer Division and has worked for Microsoft for nine years. In the last four years, he worked on Visual J++, Visual C#, and Visual C++. He currently works on Visual J# .NET and the Java-language Conversion Assistant. In his first five years, he worked for the Asia Pacific office and was the Product Manager for databases and development tools, among other roles.
