Session Summary
In this session, we will discuss common problems, issues you may encounter when setting up and using Microsoft SQL Mail. The session will also include ideas and suggestions about how to troubleshoot the problems.
This is a Level 200 session that was recorded September 13, 2001 and presented by Joseph Pilov and Dwayne Lanclos. Joseph Pilov has been working as a Developer Support Professional with Microsoft for over three years. He has been with PSS SQL Server during the release of SQL Server 7.0 and SQL Server 2000, and has worked on a variety of SQL Server issues. Joseph holds an MBA degree with a focus on Information Systems, and is a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Dwayne Lanclos joined Microsoft as a SQL Server support professional in January 1997. He has worked with many different aspects of SQL Server, including setup, connectivity, data transfer, performance, and database administration. Dwayne developed internal training for SQL Mail support issues and authored a widely used Knowledge Base article about configuring SQL Mail.
