Session Summary
During this WebCast session, you will learn how to determine when your Microsoft Exchange Server database will benefit by running Eseutil, an offline defragmentation utility. You will find out what to expect from it and how to run an offline defragmentation command. You will also learn what to do if a problem occurs and hear recommendations that will help you perform a successful defragmentation.
This is a Level 100 session that was recorded June 4, 2002 and presented by Bill Long. Bill Long joined Microsoft as a Support Professional in 1997, supporting Exchange 5.0. He was part of the Exchange night shift for nearly four years, specializing in disaster recovery and other database issues with Exchange servers. Bill has been supporting Exchange 2000 since it was in beta, and currently focuses on troubleshooting and documenting previously unknown issues with Exchange.
