Session Summary



This WebCast will introduce the new subscription option (queued updating) in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 transactional replication. It will discuss the benefits of using this option, requirements and special considerations to be aware of before implementing it, and show its workflow. The WebCast will also describe the differences between Transactional Replication with queued updating, immediate updating, and merge replication.

This is a Level 300 session that was recorded June 11, 2002 and presented by Xiaoyu Li. Xiaoyu Li is a support professional in the Microsoft SQL Support Data Services team. She joined Microsoft in 1999 and has been supporting SQL Server since version 6.5. Currently, Xiaoyu is in the SQL team that focuses on replication, cluster, and connectivity problems.
