SYMPTOMS

When you use the Ntbackup.exe utility to perform a backup, you may receive the following application error:

The requested media is not blank. It was created by another application. Do you want to continue?"

Ntbackup.exe abruptly stops when you click Yes.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the Ntbackup program incorrectly calculates the remaining space on the backup media.

RESOLUTION

Service pack information
