SYMPTOMS

The Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) that is configured on Microsoft Windows 2000 may not be able to process any more EAP requests, and you may notice a memory leak. This behavior occurs when the server uses EAP for smart card authentication.

RESOLUTION

Service pack information
