SYMPTOMS
Windows 2000 clients that are using Marconi - ForeRunner HE 155 ATM adapters may not receive group policies from a domain controller. However, Windows 2000 clients that are using Ethernet network adapters can successfully receive group policies.
CAUSE
This problem may occur when Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) Local Area Network Emulation (LANE) becomes active before the ATM protocol driver (Atmuni.sys) was ready. Because of this, network traffic is lost when the computer starts.
