SYMPTOMS
If your Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer is configured as a Terminal Services license server, you may find that the log files that the Terminal Services Licensing service creates accumulate in the Winnt\System32\LServer folder. The log files occupy hard disk space. When this problem occurs, you may have to stop and then restart the Terminal Services Licensing service to clear the log files and to free disk space on the computer.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the log files that the Terminal Services Licensing service creates do not use circular logging.

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 3.
