SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to establish a dial-up connection without a password, the device may stop dialing, and you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This problem can occur when an incorrectly formatted PPP Password Authentication Protocol packet is sent to the host.
RESOLUTION
A supported software update is now available from Microsoft as Windows CE 2.11 Core OS QFE 31. To resolve this problem immediately, click the following article number for information about obtaining Windows CE Platform Builder and core operating system software updates:
