SYMPTOMS

If you run scripts by using the Event service, the following event ID messages are logged in the Application event log:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeES
Event Category: General
Event ID: 25
Description: Script failed with a run time or syntax error on the last event. Since the script was not modified since the last failure, the script will not be run again until the error is fixed. Please refer to agent log for more information about the failure.

-and-

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeES
Event Category: General
Event ID: 11
Description: A fatal error (0x8000ffff) occurred in an IExchangeEventSink while processing message MessageSubject.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the script is not monitoring the correct folder. For example, if you run a script that looks for new mail messages (which are of type IPM.Note) against the Calendar folder, the script will not open objects in that folder (which are of type IPM.Appointment).
