SUMMARY

When you attempt to validate the AD Group profile definition, you may receive the following error:

The profile AD Group may be invalid because an error occurred while attempting to write the property 'date_last_changed'.

1. LDAP Provider: 000020b1: atrerr: dsid-030f0447, #1 0:000020b1 dsid-030f0447 Problem 10005 (Constraint_att_type) date is 0 att 20003 (when changed)
2. Microsoft Commerce OLE/DB Provider : A constraint violation occured.

MORE INFORMATION

This error does not indicate that there is a problem. Validate Profiles attempts to write data to the underlying business store to test the profile. In the case of 'date_last_changed' and 'date_created', both of these attributes are read-only in Active Directory.

Because this error does not indicate a problem, you can safely ignore this error. However, if you want to prevent this error from occurring when you are validating the profile, you can make the properties inactive by following these steps:

  1. Under Global Resources in the Commerce Server Manager (MMC), click to expand Profiles(your site), expand Profile Catalog, expand Profile Definitions, expand AD Group, and then expand Profile System.
  2. In the Advanced Attributes, modify the Date Last Changed, and the Date Created properties by clicking to clear the Active Attribute check box.

NOTE: If you make these properties inactive, the properties will no longer be displayed in the Business Desk.
