SYMPTOMS
When you use Microsoft Clip Organizer to search a Web collection for pictures, it takes longer for the thumbnails to begin to appear that it does when you use Microsoft Internet Explorer with Design Gallery Live.
CAUSE
Clip Organizer begins to display clips more slowly because it queries the online collections for 1,000 results before it begins to display the results. Design Gallery Live queries for the first 12 hits, and then queries for the next 12 after the first 12 have been displayed.
MORE INFORMATION
Clip Organizer does display 12 clips more slowly than Design Gallery Live; however, when displaying a larger number of clips, Clip Organizer is faster in the long run.
