SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to create a secondary e-mail address for a mail-enabled user, the primary address may be overwritten by the secondary e-mail address.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, manually add a secondary e-mail address to a mail-enabled user. To do this, follow these steps:
- Start the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.
- Right-click the mail-enabled user and click Properties.
- Click the E-mail Addresses tab.
- Click the New button and enter your secondary address type.
- Enter the new address.
