SYMPTOMS
The WinCE Telephony API (TAPI) "lineOpen" communication function may not work, and it may return LINEERR_INVALMEDIAMODE or LINEERR_INVALCALLPARAMS. This situation can occur if the function is called with the dwDeviceID parameter set to LINEMAPPER.
CAUSE
The "lineOpen" function incorrectly stops searching for devices if the first device (0) in the system cannot satisfy the features that are requested by the dwMediaModes and lpCallParams parameters.
RESOLUTION
