SYMPTOMS

After you exit an Instant Messaging conversation with two or more Instant Messaging participants, you cannot rejoin the group or conversation. Each time that you are added back into the conversation and a message is sent to the group, the following error message is displayed in the Instant Messaging window:

Instant_Messaging_participant has left the conversation
The following message could not be delivered to all recipients:

CAUSE

This problem can occur because after an Instant Messaging client exits a conversation, the client rejects any messages that are sent to the client with the old conversation's session ID.
