Symbols in PUBDEF Record ID Number: Q26841

Problem: MASM will allow a symbol equated to text to be made public. When this occurs, a PUBDEF record is written to the object module. Depending on the circumstances, the name may or may not appear in the PUBDEF record.
Response: This problem was FIXED in MASM Version 5.00A. Please call Product Support and request an update to MASM Version 5.00A.
