SUMMARY
Notify.exe is a self-extracting executable that contains an updated GUI application for the Toaster sample package. The Toaster sample is included with the Microsoft Windows 2000 DDK and is located in the Src\General\Toaster folder.
Notify.exe lets you simulate device plug-in, unplug and eject operations. The application also shows you how to handle Plug and Play notification in user mode.

Install the source files in the Src\Toaster\Exe\Notify folder and then build the file. If you have the WinHec 2000 update of the DDK, you must copy these files over the existing files.
NOTE: This sample was first added to the WinHec update of the DDK and this update fixes some of the bugs present in that release.
