Microsoft Visual Studio Service Pack 4, when applied to an installation of Visual J++ 6.0, updates the Jactivex.exe build tool that is supplied with Visual J++. The version supplied by Service Pack 4 is the same version of Jactivex that is supplied with the Microsoft SDK for Java version 4.0 - Version 5.00.3599.
