SYMPTOMS

If there are many Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) printers on a cluster using the standard TCP/IP port monitor and one or two printers enter a state in which the SNMP agent does not respond, the cluster does not fail over.

Under some conditions, when a printer or a number of SNMP-enabled standard TCP/IP printers are connected to the network but do not have SNMP functioning, clustering does not fail over because Tcpmon deadlocks.
