When using Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 Outlook Web Access and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, you may experience the following behavior:

If you use Internet Explorer 5.0 with Outlook Web Access to reply to an HTML-formatted message that has stationary, the stationery images may no longer be visible.

This behavior occurs in the following scenario:

  1. You have Outlook Web Access and Internet Explorer 5.0 on your computer. You receive an HTML-formatted message that is sent by someone using Microsoft Outlook and that is using stationary. You reply to this e-mail.
  2. The person with Outlook replies to your reply.
  3. When you open this last reply, the message stationary is no longer visible. Instead, you see a white box with a red "X" in it.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
