SYMPTOMS

If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 to access Exchange 2000 Server Outlook Web Access (OWA), the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to compose an appointment from the Calendar folder contains two forward slashes between the alias and the folder name. For example, if User1 creates an appointment on 3/29/00, the following URL is displayed in the properties of the form:

http://ServerName/exchange/user1//calendar/?Cmd=new&mm=3&dd=29&yy=2000



STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.



MORE INFORMATION

No known problems are caused by this issue. If you compose an appointment from any other folder, this issue does not occur.
