To run Allegiance, you need:
- A Multimedia PC with a Pentium 200 MHz or faster processor with a 3D accelerator card or a Pentium II 266 MHz without a 3D accelerator card (Pentium II 300 MHz or faster processor with a 3D accelerator card recommended)
- Microsoft Windows 95/98 with DirectX 7.0 API, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6.0 or higher, or Microsoft Windows 2000.
- 32 megabytes (MB) of RAM (64 MB of RAM recommended)
- 270 MB of available hard drive space for minimum installation
- A quad-speed or faster CD-ROM drive
- A Super VGA video adapter and a Super VGA monitor capable of supporting 16-bit color at a screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels
- A DirectX-compatible joystick recommended
- A DirectX-compatible sound card
- Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
