XWEB: Appointment Response Form Does Not Indicate the Attendee's Status

Article ID: 255476

Article Last Modified on 2/21/2007

APPLIES TO

  • Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Standard Edition

This article was previously published under Q255476

SYMPTOMS

In Exchange 2000 Outlook Web Access (OWA), if you send out a meeting request, when meeting attendees return the Appointment Response form, and they haven't changed the subject line, the item does not indicate whether they have accepted, tentatively accepted, or declined the request.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, view the message's icon in the Inbox. If the message states that the attendee accepted the meeting request, there is a tiny blue checkmark on the icon. If the attendee declined the meeting request, there is a tiny purple checkmark on the icon. You can also double-click the item to open the message.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
