SYMPTOMS
When using Microsoft Exchange 2000 Outlook Web Access (OWA) with Internet Explorer 5, the following may occur:
When you compose a new message, and click the Attachments icon to bring up the Attachment window, nothing happens when you press the ESC key to exit the window.
The same behavior occurs if you use the ESC key to exit the Options window from within a new message. If you press the ESC key to exit a new message, you receive the message "Are you sure you want to close the message." Click OK to close the new message.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
